Candice king is an American actress who made her name by playing Caroline Forbes the superhit CW series The Vampire Diaries. Candice King began her acting career in mid 1990s, as a singer. She released her debut album , 'It's Always the innocent Ones' in United States. Twelve of the fourteen songs on the album were composed by her. She was simultaneously working on her acting skills as well as appearing in two of the series, one of which was How I Met Your Mother. While she was able to sustain a stable career, her big break didn't happen until The Vampire Diaries. The show almost immediately made her a household name. Candice King was widely praised for her amazing acting abilities and performance. She reprised her role for all the eight seasons of the series that ran for 171 episodes. The year 2018 was the first time she reprised her part on the spin-off show The Originals and in 2021, Legacies.
