Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina (or Antonia) Shevchenko competes as Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thai fighter for the UFC's flyweight division. Valentina Shevchenko who was a former UFC Flyweight titleholder and UFC friend of hers is her older sister. Antonina Shevchenko's combat sport career started out in the form of an Muay Thai athlete. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title and then defeated Suzane Mller in a unanimous decision. Antonina followed it up and took home a silver medal in 2007 a bronze medal in 2008 a gold medal in 2011 and the 2016 IFMA Amateur Muay Thailand World Champion. Antonia was a professional who started her professional career at the age of three, was awarded in 2012 and the 2016 Lion Fight Lightweight Championships. It was also the WMC World Championships were also held in 2016 and she won the 2016 IFMA Amateur Thai World Champion. Antonina was last seen fighting Isa Tidblad Keskikangas in The Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won with a majority. Antonina Shychenko's pro MMA debut took place in 2002, at the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan when she faced Anara Bayanova. She was victorious in the second round TKO after which she won 2 more fights at WXF X-Impact World Championships to achieve a record of 3-0. Shevchenko took a break from MMA in order to concentrate on boxing. She made her return with a win against Anissa haddaoui, at Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko was able to defeat Anissa in a unanimous decision and beat Valerie Domergue on Phoenix FC 4 in 2017. She joined the Dana White Contender Series 2018 following the departure of the league. Shevchenko fought Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina's striking skills were superior and allowed her to TKO Nievera via knees in the back of her. After this win, Antonina received a UFC deal. Antonina took part in her UFC debut during the TUF Heavy Hhitters Finale with Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modafferi by a split-decision fight after winning the first fight via unanimity. Antonina returned to the ring after losing and defeated Lucie Puddilova in UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submissions in the 2nd round. The fight was awarded Antonina the prize of Fight of The Night. Shevchenko had a 1-2 record during her subsequent three matches she won against Ariane Lipski, while being defeated by Katlyn Clarkagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina is currently being knocked out by Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
