Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. Her acting career began by playing supporting roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). She then played reporter Willa McPherson on the FX series Dirt and played a supporting part in the short-lived show The Ex List. In the FX's debut season of American Horror Story, she was the lead character Moira O'Hara's child character. Then she played Kaylee in season three. She was Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She is a voice actor in the show Family Guy, an animated comedy. She has been voiced by Melinda "Mel" Monroe in Netflix's Virgin River since 2019. Breckenridge was raised in Darien in Connecticut. She relocated to California with her mother when she was of 10. They went through a few different places for a year before they found their home in Mill Valley. Breckenridge started to be fascinated by photography, acting and singing at the age of 13. She moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 15 to pursue a career in acting.
